Bibere Stage 2 Follow-on Formula is scientifically formulated for infants aged 6 to 12 months.
You can keep using breast milk or formula as the main drink until your baby is 12 months of age. Some mothers continue breastfeeding past this time. It's up to you and your baby to decide when is the time to stop. Start giving some solids when baby is ready and needs extra food - this will be at around 6 months of age. Give the milk feed first and and offer solids as a "top up". For example try 1 teaspoon first and slowly add more until baby is having about 3-4 teaspoons a meal. First foods need to be plain, smooth and soft.
From about 7-8 months, more texture can be introduced as mashed rather than pureed vegetables and fruits. Try finger foods in pieces that can be easily picked up by baby - very soft fruit and vegies (ripe banana, well cooked pumpkin, etc), toast fingers and thin slices of cheese. Babies do not need added sugar or salt.
