Stand the bottle in a pot of heated water until the formula is just warm. Squeeze a drop of milk onto the inside of your wrist to test the temperature and to make sure the milk is flowing from the teat.
When going out, put the bottle containing the right amount of water in an insulated bag with a cool pack. Pack the measured amount of Bibere powder separately. Mix when baby needs a feed.
Boil the water for five minutes and leave to cool. Make a few bottles so you don't run out.
Sterilise bottles and teats. Boil bottle, teat and ring in water for five minutes. Or, use a microwave steriliser following the directions. Store empty sterilised bottles in a sealed container in the fridge or in a pot with the lid on.
Check instructions on the Bibere formula package for how much water to use. Put this amount of cooled, boiled water in a sterilised baby bottle.
Keep children away from boiling water. To avoid scalding yourself, let equipment cool in the pot until you can touch it.
Put lid and teat on the bottle. Tap bottle gently so powder falls down into the water. Shake bottle well to mix the powder and water.
Check instructions on the Bibere formula package for how many scoops of formula to use. Tap the scoop, and level it using the container leveler or a flat blade.
